Make a difference in mental health

Are you a teen who’s looking to make an impact in the mental health field before going to college? Then look no further than the  Children’s Hospital Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science’s Children’s Mental Health Youth Action Board.

Teen volunteers get the opportunity to have a say in how mental health treatment is conducted at the hospital, advise staff on projects and create a project that creates social change in  communities.

The deadline is June 20.

The hospital is looking for eight to 10 volunteers ages 15-17. They must be able to get to the hospital on their own and be able to show up from 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m. on Mondays from July to October.
