Load up at used book sale

Are you looking for some summer reading choices but don’t want to spend all your money? There is perhaps no book sale larger and with a greater selection than the Denver Public Library’s annual book sale where you can find more than 70,000 used books, CDs, DVDs and audio books at bargain prices. This might also be a good time to stock up on those classic title you know will be required reading next year or in college.

The sale will be held at the Central Library, 10 W. Fourteenth Ave. Pkwy., on the North Lawn.

Dates and times are:

10 a.m.-7:30 p.m., June 6

10 a.m.-4 p.m. June 7

10 a.m.-4 p.m. June 8

10 a.m.- 1 p.m. June 9

Cash, credit cards and checks will be accepted.

Hardbacks: $3 Trade paperbacks: $2 Mass market paperbacks: 50 cents DVDs: $2 CDs: $1 Audiobooks: $5 Better Books: priced as marked

If you’re interested in volunteering, call 720-865-2051. Volunteers receive free parking, refreshments and a 25 percent discount coupon at the book sale.
