Join Student Advisory Board of Colorado Governor’s School Pilot Program

BREAKING NEWS – THE DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR COLORADO GOVERNOR’S SCHOOL YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO MONDAY, MARCH 3, 2014! Governor’s school is coming to Colorado and is currently seeking applicants for its Student Advisory Board to help chart the course for the nation’s next governor’s school. Applicants must be current high school sophomores or juniors.

What is Colorado Governor’s School, aka “CGS”, you ask? It is a 4 week academic, leadership and enrichment summer residential program for college bound high school students with exceptional intellectual curiosity. The first full-blown program will take place in the summer of 2015 on the campus of University of Colorado – Denver.

The CGS Student Advisory Board is open to high school students residing in the following geographic areas: Adams County, Arapahoe County, Jefferson County, Boulder County, Denver County, Pueblo, El Paso County, Weld County, Larimer County, Garfield County, Mesa County, Chaffee County, San Luis Valley/Alamosa, Durango, Cortez, Pitkin County, Eagle County, Elbert County and Kit Carson County.
