If you’re a student interested in a career in finance, banking, business, nonprofits, philanthropy or leadership, you might be interested in applying for the Young Americans Center for Financial Education Youth Advisory Board, based in Denver.

The Center is looking for members to join its 2013-2014 Youth Advisory Board. Members are selected through an application and interview process. The Board meets one Saturday a month from August to June, where they learn about business, banking and the nonprofit world.

It’s an excellent opportunity to hone one’s leadership skills and learn more about the banking and business processes.

Members also will be able to provide a youth perspective to the adult board and management. Members are eligible to become lifetime members of the alumni association after serving for a year. Who knows? Serving on the Youth Americans Youth Advisory Board might very well help shape your college and career plans!
